Half Moon Theatre
Half Moon is the UK’s leading small-scale young people’s venue and touring company. Working from their base in Limehouse, they utilise the power of theatre and the arts to support young people’s personal and social development at every stage of their creative development. Their wide-ranging programme reaches around 50,000 annually and engages those who are often excluded from arts activity.
Activity includes a season of professional plays for young audiences, national touring productions and an extensive creative learning programme, including eight youth theatres, after school drama clubs, creative play sessions for early years and Next Steps, which supports young people's transition from primary to secondary school.
Half Moon is a National Portfolio Organisation of Arts Council England and receives regular funding from the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
Half Moon is delighted to present their work at All Points East in Victoria Park for the eighth year. They will present a different theatre show for young people every day from a wide range of artists, hosted by storyteller Jade Dowsett-Roberts.
